Megabox 'Ansimdeohagi' Campaign "As Part of Social Distancing"
[Asia Economy Reporter Jonggil Lee] Megabox announced on the 19th that it has been conducting the 'Safe Plus' campaign since the 16th. This is a seat distancing measure introduced to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). Reservations for odd-numbered row seats are restricted on the booking site, application, and theater ticket counters. A Megabox official explained, "To alleviate customer anxiety, rows A, C, E, etc. are left empty, and guidance signs have been posted at the entrance of the screening rooms." There are no restrictions on rows for audiences with companions. However, for customers who booked seats in the same row other than companions, they are seated with at least one seat apart. Additionally, safety rules such as wearing masks and using hand sanitizers are being enforced to prevent COVID-19 infection.
