Gochang-gun, Road Environment Maintenance Initiated for Thawing Season
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 17th that it has started a comprehensive road maintenance to create a clean and safe environment on local roads, county roads, and rural roads in the area in preparation for the thawing season.
For this environmental maintenance, a preliminary inspection by route was conducted jointly with the Eup-Myeon Administrative Welfare Centers.
Road repair workers, excavators, street sweepers, dump trucks, and others have been mobilized to thoroughly maintain sections requiring repair such as road pavement damage (potholes), roadside brush, and poor drainage areas.
In addition, a separate patrol team has been organized and operated to prevent safety accidents, conducting safety inspections of bridges, slopes, and rockfall hazard areas.
The county plans to minimize inconvenience to farmers during farming activities and provide a clean road environment to tourists visiting Gochang-gun during the outing season.
