KMA and Yeoju City Promote Construction of National Yeosu Marine Meteorological Science Museum
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hyun-joo] The construction of the National Yeosu Marine Meteorological Science Museum is set to be actively promoted.
The Korea Meteorological Administration announced on the 12th that it signed a business agreement with Yeosu City. Through this agreement, Yeosu City will provide the site for the science museum and support all necessary matters for its construction.
The National Yeosu Marine Meteorological Science Museum will be the only facility in the country dedicated to marine meteorology, with an opening targeted for the second half of 2023. The building will have one basement floor and three above-ground floors, with a total investment of 26.6 billion KRW.
