[Official] Juventus Defender Rugani Tests Positive for COVID-19
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Seulgi Kim] Juventus FC's central defender Daniele Rugani has tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
On the 11th (local time), Juventus announced in an official statement, "Rugani has tested positive for COVID-19," adding, "Rugani is currently asymptomatic but has been quarantined at home according to regulations."
Juventus stated that they will identify and quarantine individuals who had contact with Rugani.
As of 6 PM on the 12th (local time), the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases nationwide in Italy is 12,462, an increase of 2,313 from the previous day.
