Clean Narae Donates Masks and Other Supplies Worth 100 Million Won to Vulnerable Groups
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Kkaekkeuthan Nara announced on the 11th that it has provided hygiene products and donations worth a total of 100 million KRW to support vulnerable groups struggling due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
On the 28th of last month, Kkaekkeuthan Nara donated hygiene products worth 60 million KRW, including its mask products ‘Kkaekkeuthan Nara Yellow Dust Protection Mask KF94’ and ‘Kkaekkeuthan Nara Peppermint Wet Wipes,’ to Daegu City. On the 5th of this month, it delivered masks and wet wipes worth 20 million KRW to the northern region of Daegu and Cheongju City.
The donated items are scheduled to be delivered to medical staff dedicated to treating COVID-19 and hygiene-vulnerable groups. Going forward, Kkaekkeuthan Nara plans to make additional donations if it secures more manufactured masks.
All employees of Kkaekkeuthan Nara voluntarily conducted a relay donation campaign to support local community residents facing difficulties due to COVID-19. With the spirit of overcoming difficult times together by pooling the strength of all employees, they carried out a voluntary in-house fundraising activity and plan to donate the 20 million KRW raised.
A Kkaekkeuthan Nara official said, “As a manufacturer of hygiene products, we wanted to contribute to overcoming the national crisis by supporting daily necessities and conducting a relay donation involving all employees. We hope this will be of some help to those going through difficult times due to COVID-19.”

It has supported baby diapers to low-income families in Cheongju City and delivered sanitary pads to single mothers and young women in Gyeonggi Province.
