[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Creatrip (CEO Lim Hye-min), which provides domestic travel information to foreigners, announced on the 10th that the number of partner businesses offering benefits to foreigners traveling in Korea has surpassed 300. Along with this, the cumulative number of downloads of partner coupons issued by Creatrip for foreign travelers has exceeded approximately 70,000, recording an average of 16,000 downloads per month this year.
Founded in 2016, Creatrip is an information platform available on both mobile applications (app) and websites for overseas travelers visiting Korea. It offers about 10,000 pieces of content introducing attractions, restaurants, and fashion stores in urban areas and travel destinations nationwide, and also provides reservation services and food delivery for partner businesses.
Creatrip focuses on enabling foreigners to travel in Korea like locals by providing detailed information and travel tips through diverse content such as YouTube videos and blogs. Currently, content is supported in seven languages, including English, Chinese, Japanese, and Thai. Lim Hye-min, CEO of Creatrip, stated, "We will focus on providing thorough information and various benefits so that foreigners can use Korea like locals. Although the industry has been greatly affected by COVID-19, Creatrip will strengthen its foundation and make further efforts to enhance services during this period."
