KIC Donates 10 Million Won in Emergency Relief Funds for COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Korea Investment Corporation (KIC) announced on the 10th that it has donated 10 million KRW for emergency relief related to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) through the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association.
This donation will be used to support livelihood supplies for vulnerable residents under home quarantine and for medical staff who are doing their utmost to treat patients.
President Choi Hee-nam stated, "We hope our small contribution will provide strength and comfort to the vulnerable facing difficulties and the dedicated medical staff," and added, "I believe that the entire nation can unite and wisely overcome this crisis."

Additionally, KIC plans to deliver rice, bottled water, side dishes, and sanitizers to elderly people, disabled households, and residents of jjokbangchon (small room villages) who are facing food emergencies due to the suspension of free meals, through the Open Medical Association and Seongbuk Disabled Welfare Center.
