Gyeonggi-do Distributes 'COVID-19 Condolence Guidelines' in Funeral Market
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province has distributed a 'Condolence Guide for COVID-19 Prevention and Spread Control' to funeral homes, which are multi-use facilities within the province, and requested that it be posted.
This measure is to prevent cluster infections and community spread within multi-use facilities due to the recent increase in COVID-19 confirmed cases.
The guide includes ▲ cooperation with guestbook writing and fever checks ▲ refraining from touching facilities used by many people, and if touched, washing hands and using hand sanitizer ▲ wearing masks ▲ minimizing conversations and physical contact among mourners ▲ thorough personal hygiene management.
The province requested cooperation from the Korea Funeral Association, a corporation, to disseminate the guide's requests and plans to ask each city and county to continuously conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance.
