37 COVID-19 Cases Confirmed Within the Military
[Asia Economy Reporter Yang Nak-gyu] One Air Force officer working in Daegu has tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the military to 37.
The Ministry of National Defense announced on the 10th, "As of 10 a.m., the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the military is 37, with one additional confirmed case."
The additional confirmed case is an Air Force officer stationed in Daegu. It is known that he was infected at the hospital where he was admitted for treatment. Currently, the cumulative confirmed cases by branch are 20 in the Army, 1 in the Navy, 2 in the Marine Corps, 13 in the Air Force, and 1 in the Ministry of National Defense direct units. As of today, there are 2 recovered cases in the military.
