POSCO Construction Launches 'Field Needs Technology Collaboration Contest' for SMEs
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] POSCO Engineering & Construction announced on the 10th that it will hold a 'Technology Cooperation Contest to Solve On-site Needs' to develop technologies required at construction sites in collaboration with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
POSCO Engineering & Construction explained that the contest is being held to jointly develop essential technologies at construction sites with SMEs that have extensive on-site know-how, focusing on upgrading through the use of high-quality steel materials, minimizing the possibility of complaints during construction, and enhancing consumer satisfaction.
SMEs selected in this contest will participate in POSCO Group's performance-sharing program, which shares outcomes through joint technology development. Incentives such as unit price contracts, long-term supply rights, and joint patent applications will be provided to the SMEs.
Any domestic SME can participate in this contest. Applications can be submitted through the POSCO Engineering & Construction Win-Win Cooperation Technology Proposal Center website by the 20th of this month.
