On the 9th, the Public Procurement Service announced this year's plan for designating and purchasing innovative prototypes on the comprehensive innovation procurement portal 'Innovation Market,' officially launching the designation and purchase project for innovative prototypes.
The innovative prototype purchase project underwent a pilot phase last year. The core of the project is to effectively improve public services and support technological innovation in companies by initially purchasing innovative products before their commercialization by the government.
In particular, this year, the designated fields and support scale have been significantly expanded, and products that have passed the regulatory sandbox (regulatory exemption) special review can be exempted from innovation evaluation.
Additionally, by allowing demand institutions to directly purchase products designated as innovative prototypes and registered on the Innovation Market through private contracts, it is expected that companies will be able to secure practical sales channels.
