50s Man Arrested for Murdering Mongolian Woman and Abandoning Body
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ga-yeon] A man in his 50s who killed a Mongolian woman and abandoned her body has been arrested by the police.
The Gumi Police Station in Gyeongbuk announced on the 9th that they have detained a Korean man, A (59), on charges of killing a Mongolian woman and abandoning her body.
A is accused of killing B (59), whom he knew personally, during a dispute over money on January 29, and then abandoning B's body.
The Gumi police, responding to a joint investigation request from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency investigating B's disappearance, analyzed nearby closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage and identified A as a suspect before apprehending him.
According to the police, A killed B inside his own car, loaded B's body onto a tractor, and buried it in a field about 2 km from his residence.

The police are investigating the detailed circumstances of the case with A and plan to send B's body to the National Forensic Service for an autopsy.
