GS25 Presents Unique Products for White Day Celebration
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] GS25 announced on the 9th that it will launch unique products to celebrate the upcoming White Day.
GS25 is introducing three types of 'White Day Pengsoo Sets,' similar to last Valentine's Day. These products include various chocolates, snacks, jellies, along with a Pengsoo mini life-size standee and Pengsoo magnets. As of March 5, over 80% of the total 80,000 White Day Pengsoo Sets have already been sold out early.
They are also selling two types of 'How Many People on White Day Sets' in collaboration with a famous YouTuber. This product, created in collaboration with the popular animation YouTuber ‘Chongmyeong’ who has over 2.2 million subscribers, includes two grip-toks featuring well-known animated characters such as ‘Nacheonjae’ and ‘Minmori,’ known for their distinctive art styles.
Additionally, GS25 offers 'Samgyeopsal-shaped Jelly,' which closely resembles grilled pork belly, the 'Galaxy Candy Set' depicting the planets of the solar system, and the 'SNS Issue Product Planning Pack,' a limited edition of 30,000 units featuring products popular on social networking services (SNS).
To celebrate White Day, GS25 is running promotions until the end of this month, offering free gifts with purchase on 77 types of chocolates, candies, jellies, and snacks. Furthermore, customers who purchase these 77 products and accumulate GS&POINTs will receive stamps through the 'My Own Refrigerator App,' allowing them to enter prize draws.
Meanwhile, sales of GS25’s Valentine’s Day-related products increased by 22.5% compared to the previous year. By product category, single items such as chocolates, jellies, and candies rose by 14.4%, while planned sets increased by 42.0%.
The three Valentine Pengsoo Sets sold out early with 80,000 units gone about five days before Valentine’s Day, and most of the collaboration products with the famous YouTube animation artist 'Chongmyeong' were also sold out.
