Alice and Olivia First Pop-up Store Opening
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Samsung C&T Fashion Division announced on the 9th that it has opened the first pop-up store of the American contemporary brand ‘Alice and Olivia’ at the luxury hall of Galleria Department Store located in Apgujeong-dong, Seoul.
Launched in New York in 2002, Alice and Olivia is a brand with a unique and luxurious sensibility for women who want to express their own individuality.
Founder Stacy Bendet, a New Yorker, was inspired by music and art and succeeded in establishing the brand with a single-minded determination to create the perfect pants. It has now grown into a total lifestyle brand including ready-to-wear, gowns, shoes, handbags, and accessories. After its launch, Andrew Rosen, founder of Theory, joined as a partner.
Alice and Olivia is characterized by designs that combine a feminine and sophisticated feel with a lively charm and wit. It currently operates in 36 countries across the US, Europe, and Asia, and is stocked in major department stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, as well as in about 800 online stores.
