Gyeongbuk Pohang and Andong, Total COVID-19 Cases Reach 45 and 46 Respectively
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Pohang City in North Gyeongsang Province announced on the 8th that A (11) and B (9), residents of Buk-gu, tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Pohang has thus increased to 45. The two additional confirmed cases are sons of Pohang patient number 40, who were tested at a screening clinic on the 6th of this month and confirmed positive on the 8th. Pohang City discloses the movement routes of confirmed patients on its website.
In Andong City, two new COVID-19 confirmed cases were reported on the 8th, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Andong to 46.
C (61), a resident of Andong, is the husband of E (64, female), who is presumed to have been infected after visiting a beauty salon operated by D (62, female), a Shincheonji Church member. D was confirmed positive after a test conducted at a public health center screening clinic on the 28th of last month.

Andong City isolates additional confirmed cases at home and temporarily closes businesses revealed in their movement routes after disinfection.
