Submitted projects will be evaluated based on the appropriateness of fund usage, project feasibility, project implementation capability, and recent project performance. Support recipients and amounts will be decided within a limit of 20 million KRW per organization.
The Senior Welfare Fund, established in 2001 with a total of 3 billion KRW, supports projects promoting senior welfare such as job creation for the elderly, dissemination of health and leisure programs, and support for vulnerable elderly groups. The fund annually calls for and selects executing organizations and has supported a total of 2.8 billion KRW to date.
Last year, for the first time since the fund’s inception, all 20 organizations that participated in the 2019 projects gathered in one place to present their project outcomes, receive expert consulting, suggest improvement directions, and share various proposals and information for the development of senior welfare, receiving favorable reviews from participating institutions.
