Super Junior Cancels 'Samaita Performance' Due to Japan Entry Restrictions
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kang Juhee] The group Super Junior has canceled their Saitama concert scheduled for March due to Japan's 'entry restrictions on Koreans.'
On the 6th, Super Junior's agency Label SJ announced, "The Super Junior concert in Saitama, Japan, scheduled for the 25th and 26th, has been canceled," adding, "Future schedules will be announced later."
Super Junior was set to hold their solo concert "Super Junior World Tour - Super Show 8: Infinite Time" in Saitama, Japan, on the 25th and 26th.
The cancellation of Super Junior's Saitama concert appears to be due to Japan's entry restrictions on Koreans amid the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
On the 5th, Japan announced measures to quarantine arrivals from Korea for 14 days at designated locations and to ban visa-free entry.
