SNS Messages on COVID-19 Mask Public Distribution... "Pharmacies Are the Closest Places Protecting Public Health"
[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Jeong-min] President Moon Jae-in expressed his deep gratitude for the cooperation of frontline pharmacists in an SNS message on the 'Novel Coronavirus Infection (COVID-19)' on the 6th.
President Moon explained, "From today, 70% of masks distributed through public channels will be sold through pharmacies. The workload for neighborhood pharmacies will increase. The difficulty of having to open on Sundays has also been added."
President Moon said, "Especially, the 5-day rotation sales system starting next week is a new system, so there may be various inconveniences and confusion initially. Bearing those inconveniences and complaints has also become the responsibility of pharmacies," and evaluated, "Pharmacies are places closest to the people, protecting their health."
President Moon added, "Many pharmacies also serve as community gathering places. Knowing well the difficulties, stepping forward together must be due to a sense of mission to overcome the crisis and protect the health of the people. It is truly reassuring and I am grateful."
