Toray Advanced Materials Donates 300 Million KRW to Overcome COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Toray Advanced Materials announced that it has donated 300 million KRW to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to help overcome the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Jeon Hae-sang, CEO of Toray Advanced Materials, said, "As the entire nation is going through a difficult time, all employees will actively work to overcome the situation and prevent its spread," adding, "As a company with a business site in Gyeongbuk, we hope to be of some help to those in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region."
CEO Jeon has internally emphasized prioritizing hygiene and safety by strengthening workplace disinfection, implementing remote and flexible work systems, and having employees eat in single rows. He explained that, as a company producing electrostatic MB (Melt Blown) filters, a key material for masks currently in nationwide shortage, doing their best to maintain stable operations without disruption is a small contribution to overcoming the crisis.
