SBS "Drama PD Assault Allegation, Considered a Serious Matter"
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] SBS stated on the 6th that it "views the matter very seriously" regarding the incident in which a drama PD affiliated with the company was booked by the police for assaulting pedestrians while intoxicated.
SBS said, "The company is currently investigating the related incident and will handle it according to company regulations."
Earlier, on the 5th, the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul announced that they had arrested and booked a male SBS drama PD in his 30s, Mr. A, on charges including special assault and insult.
Mr. A was caught by the police on the morning of the 1st in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, for assaulting a passerby by throwing a soju bottle and hitting the person's face.
