Hanhil Cement Donates 100 Million Won for COVID-19 Damage Recovery
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Hanil Cement announced on the 6th that it donated 100 million won to the National Disaster Relief Association to participate in recovery efforts from the damage caused by the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The donation will be used to support medical staff, quarantine personnel facing difficulties due to shortages of protective suits, masks, hand sanitizers, and other quarantine supplies, as well as disaster-vulnerable groups and low-income families.
A Hanil Cement official said, “In this national crisis situation where COVID-19 is showing signs of nationwide spread, we decided to donate funds to help even a little,” adding, “We hope this will contribute to the swift end of COVID-19 and assist all those experiencing difficulties.”
