NS Home Shopping Joins Forces with Partners to Deliver 100,000 Masks to Daegu Region
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] NS Home Shopping has stepped up to support the Daegu region, which is struggling due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
On the 6th, NS Home Shopping announced that it had delivered 100,000 masks to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association to support treatment and quarantine facilities in the Daegu area.
This mask donation was made possible through the cooperation of Witek Corporation, a partner company that manufactures 'WeCare Masks.' Witek Corporation originally planned to sell the secured stock through NS Home Shopping, but both companies agreed to donate the masks, and NS Home Shopping purchased the entire quantity and delivered it to the Korea Disaster Relief Association.
The 'WeCare Masks' delivered by NS Home Shopping are KF94-grade health masks and will be used to support infected patients, self-quarantined individuals, and medical quarantine workers.
Do Sang-chul, CEO of NS Home Shopping, said, "Just as NS Home Shopping and our partner company have united their intentions, I believe that if all citizens join forces, we can definitely overcome COVID-19. I hope the masks delivered this time will be of some help to those dedicating themselves to overcoming this crisis."
