According to the Central Disease Control Headquarters, as of 4 p.m. on this day, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in South Korea is 6,088. The number increased by 322 during the day from 5,766 at midnight, surpassing 6,000. It increased by about 1,000 again just two days after exceeding 5,000 on the 3rd. The additional confirmed cases announced by the health authorities at 10 a.m. on this day were 438, resulting in an increase of 722 cases in one day compared to the previous day.
