[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] On the 5th, Choi Byeong-am, Deputy Director (first from the left), visited the site of the National Sinsido Natural Recreation Forest development project located in Sinsido, Gunsan-si, Jeonbuk, to inspect the progress of the project and the status of financial execution. The Sinsido Recreation Forest development project is being promoted with a total budget of 23 billion KRW to build lodging facilities (56 rooms) such as forest houses, a visitor information center, and a community center, aiming to open next year. In particular, the Korea Forest Service plans to concentrate more than 62% of the forest budget in the first half of this year to revitalize the local economy, which has been depressed due to the impact of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
