The Gwangju Office of Education proposed measures to high school principals to strengthen student academic support and life guidance in order to minimize the learning gap for students.
First, autonomous online content such as digital textbooks, e-Hakseupter, EBS, and Edunet will be provided.
In particular, by opening online class rooms, preview assignments are presented, and students can preview textbooks online including video materials and evaluation questions.
Student life guidance will be centered on homeroom teachers who will create and operate SNS group chat rooms. Through class group chats, infection prevention and personal hygiene guidance for individual students will be conducted, and real-time individual student counseling will also be provided.
Although the school opening is postponed by three weeks, teachers will still report to school.
Principals were also informed that telecommuting may be allowed after comprehensively considering the urgency of tasks and whether teachers show symptoms.
