View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Hwang Kyo-ahn, leader of the United Future Party, criticized the Moon Jae-in government on the 4th regarding the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), saying, "The Moon Jae-in government has gone too far," and asked, "If the government cannot protect the first and last lines of defense, then why does the government exist?"
On that day, Hwang posted on his Facebook under the title "The Sorrow of Having Masks Taken Away," stating, "A nationwide mask supply crisis is occurring," and added, "Citizens trying to buy masks started lining up from 5 a.m. enduring the cold wind, but they could not obtain masks."
He said, "The first line of defense to prevent the Wuhan coronavirus disaster was the restriction on entry from China," and "This government failed to protect the first line of defense."
He continued, "The last line of defense against the Wuhan coronavirus disaster is masks," and "However, this government cannot even protect the last line of defense. They gave all our masks to China, and the sorrow of having masks taken away has become the burden of our people."
Additionally, Hwang pointed out, "Until the day before yesterday, the government said the mask production capacity was sufficient. But now they say to wash and reuse masks, dry and reuse them, and even that it is not necessary to wear them so frequently."
