So far, 11 patients have recovered and been discharged, and 22 confirmed patients have died.
According to the city on the 4th, among the total 4,006 confirmed cases, 1,330 patients are hospitalized in hospitals, and 373 are admitted to residential treatment centers. The remaining 2,270 patients are waiting for hospitalization at home due to a shortage of hospital beds.
The city plans to admit 288 patients to Daegu Medical Center and National Masan Hospital during the day, and also admit 209 patients to the Samsung Yeongdeok Training Center residential treatment center.
In addition, among the confirmed patients waiting for hospitalization, those in poor health will be admitted on the 5th to the National Armed Forces Daegu Hospital, which has 303 beds. About 30 patients classified as severe cases will be admitted to hospitals in Gyeonggi Province on the same day.

On the previous day in Daegu, 2 patients were discharged, but 4 patients died, increasing the total number of deaths in Daegu to 22.
As of the previous day, among the 10,914 Shincheonji Church members managed by the city, 7,913 (72.5%) have undergone diagnostic testing, and among the 5,715 whose test results have been notified, 3,168 (55.4%) were confirmed positive. For high-risk groups among the general public who are elderly and have underlying conditions, dedicated teams will be formed at district and county health centers to conduct reservation-based visit testing.
