Daehan Electric Wire to Supply High-Voltage Cables to Denmark for 8 Years

Daehan Electric Wire announced that on the 3rd local time in Denmark, it signed a contract with Energinet, the Danish state-owned transmission company, to supply HV (High Voltage) underground transmission networks.
Daehan Electric Wire will be a major supplier of 145-170kV underground transmission networks ordered by Energinet over the next eight years. It will participate in orders and bids until March 2028, supplying cables and accessories and performing local connection works.
The company expects to supply more than 25% of the volume ordered by Energinet over the next eight years. In particular, the company emphasized that this contract is significant as Daehan Electric Wire's first entry into Denmark.
A company official said, "Winning an eight-year long-term contract means that Daehan Electric Wire's technology and price competitiveness are beginning to be recognized in the European market," adding, "In fact, since establishing its European branch in 2017, Daehan Electric Wire has been expanding its presence in the European market by winning ultra-high voltage cable projects in the Netherlands, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and other countries."
