SBI Savings Bank Donates 100 Million Won to Daegu and Gyeongbuk
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] SBI Savings Bank announced on the 4th that it has donated 100 million won to help overcome the damage caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The 100 million won donated to the Community Chest of Korea will be used for children and vulnerable groups in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions, which have been severely affected by COVID-19.
SBI Savings Bank will provide financial support to customers who are confirmed COVID-19 patients or small business owners and small enterprises in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions.
For individual loan customers, support will include maturity extensions, principal and interest repayment deferrals, suspension of debt collection, and reduction of overdue interest. For businesses, maturity extensions, limit increases, and preferential interest rates will be offered. Customers with deposit products will receive financial support such as exemption from financial fees and application of contracted interest rates for one month after maturity.
