In the Changwon area, consumer sentiment has frozen after the occurrence of COVID-19 confirmed cases, causing significant damage such as business closures among small business owners. Accordingly, the city proposed measures to create a consumption promotion atmosphere, including the Good Landlord Campaign and support in funding, sales, and vitality sectors for small business owners.
The support measures include ▲ reduction of rental fees for public properties managed by the city ▲ tax support for small business owners and traditional markets, activation of online marketing, expansion of support projects for improving the management environment of small business owners ▲ promotion of consumption atmosphere through additional issuance of Changwon Love Gift Certificates, large-scale discount events at Jeonpo Traditional Market, etc. ▲ a total of 8 projects worth 8.8 billion KRW including requests for national funds for local tax reductions for damaged businesses and support for quarantine expenses.
