'My Candlelight'·'Boonibear...' Release Postponed Due to COVID-19 Spread
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jong-gil] The films "My Candlelight" and "Boonie Bear: The Great Adventure in the Primitive Era," which were scheduled to be released this month, have postponed their premieres due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). The distributors of the two films, Little Big Pictures and Like Contents, announced on the 2nd that "we will monitor the situation and decide on a new release schedule."
"My Candlelight" is a documentary highlighting the candlelight vigils held by citizens in Gwanghwamun. Actor Kim Eui-sung and journalist Joo Jin-woo directed the film. It features appearances by Ko Young-tae, Park Young-soo, Sohn Suk-hee, Shim Sang-jung, Yoo Si-min, and Yoon Seok-youl.

"Boonie Bear: The Great Adventure in the Primitive Era" is an animated film about Big, Briar, and others who accidentally travel back in time to the primitive era and embark on an adventure after meeting a timid little wolf. The film is directed once again by Chinese director Zheng Liang, who has been directing the "Boonie Bear" series since 2014.
