View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Jang Seok-woong, Superintendent of Education of Jeonnam, visited the main office's COVID-19 Response Headquarters on the occasion of the 101st anniversary of the March 1st Movement, encouraging the staff and urging thorough quarantine and student safety measures.
According to the Jeonnam Office of Education on the 2nd, Superintendent Jang visited the headquarters' 3rd floor response headquarters the day before to inspect the 24-hour emergency response system operating to block the spread of the COVID-19 virus infection.
Superintendent Jang encouraged the staff on emergency duty and said, "Please carefully establish safety and care measures for children in the Suncheon and Yeosu areas where confirmed cases occurred over the past Friday and Saturday," and "Reorganize the response headquarters organization according to the March 1st organizational restructuring, and thoroughly check the emergency contact network with each department and division of the headquarters, education support offices, and schools at all levels."
In addition, regarding the confirmed cases in the Suncheon and Yeosu areas, they identified faculty and students who had contact with confirmed cases to self-isolate, and sent emergency text messages to all education family members urging them to refrain from going out and to comply with hygiene rules.
