Public Shopping, Full Refund for 'Hanji Refill Mask'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Public Home Shopping announced on the 2nd that it will provide a full refund for the 'Hanji Refill Mask.' The product was sold through the Public Shopping online mall, not as a TV broadcast product, and the contract was made with an intermediary distributor (vendor), not the manufacturer.
The issue arose because the manufacturer falsely stated 'KIFA (Korea Far-Infrared Association) certification' on the product. During the preliminary verification process for online mall entry, the product description and packaging indicated that it had received KIFA certification, which was not true.
Since starting sales through Public Home Shopping on February 10, about 29,000 customers have placed orders. Public Home Shopping plans to contact all customers, both those who have received the product and those who have not, individually to provide information and process refunds, with a full refund as the standard.
