Hoban Donates 300 Million Won to Prevent COVID-19 Spread... Also Reduces Rent by 30%
[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Hoban Group announced on the 2nd that it will donate 300 million won to the Korean Red Cross to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and to aid in damage recovery. The donation from Hoban Group will be used to deliver quarantine supplies and ensure the safety of citizens in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions, where COVID-19 is rapidly spreading.
Hoban Group has also decided to participate in a rent reduction campaign for small business owners. Hoban Group's commercial facility 'Avenue France' and its leisure business division Hoban Hotel & Resort (Risom Resort) will reduce rent by 10-30% for up to six months for small business owners and small and medium-sized enterprises occupying about 200 leased stores.
Hoban Group's employee volunteer group 'Hoban Sarang Nanum-i' will also purchase 30,000 masks to deliver to the affected areas.
