Samsung Actively Supports COVID-19 Treatment "Providing Yeongdeok Training Center"
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Samsung Group has actively stepped up efforts to treat the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
On the 2nd, Samsung announced that it will provide the Samsung Human Resources Development Center Yeongdeok Training Center for mild COVID-19 patients who are isolated at home instead of hospitals due to a shortage of hospital beds.
The Yeongdeok Training Center is expected to be used as a living treatment center where even mild patients can receive medical staff management while in isolation.
A Samsung official expressed hope, saying, "By providing the Yeongdeok Training Center, tertiary general hospitals can focus on treating severe patients, and mild patients can receive prompt treatment from medical staff even if their symptoms worsen, which will help reduce the damage caused by COVID-19."
