Shinsegae Duty Free Downtown 3 Locations to Delay Opening Time to 11 AM Starting from the 1st
Three Downtown Duty-Free Shops to Operate on Reduced Hours
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Shinsegae Duty Free announced on the 28th that it will change the operating hours of its three downtown duty-free stores in Myeongdong, Gangnam, and Busan from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting next month 1st, which is Samiljeol (Independence Movement Day).
Previously, the stores operated for 9 hours from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., but the new change shortens the hours by 2 hours.
Earlier, the three Shinsegae Duty Free stores in Myeongdong, Gangnam, and Busan had already shortened their operating hours once since the outbreak of COVID-19 in Korea. The hours were changed from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., reducing the operating time by 2 hours and 30 minutes.
