[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Shinsegae Department Store Gyeonggi Branch announced on the 27th that the 6th floor store will be temporarily closed on the 28th.
This measure was taken after it was confirmed that a confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) visited the 6th floor children's and sports sections on the 23rd.
The Gyeonggi Branch proactively closed early at 7:30 PM today, immediately after confirming the confirmed case's visit.
Shinsegae stated that, considering the confirmed case wore a mask, did not visit any areas other than the 6th floor store, and that disinfection was performed prior to confirmation of the visit, they decided to temporarily close only the visited area after consultation with health authorities.
