According to Ulsan health authorities and police on the 27th, around 10:30 PM the previous day, a woman in her 60s, Ms. A, living in a 7th-floor apartment in Nam-gu, Ulsan, fell and was transported to the hospital but passed away.
The health authorities confirmed that Ms. A was a Shincheonji believer and conducted COVID-19 tests on her and her husband, both of whom tested negative. It was confirmed that Ms. A was not subject to self-quarantine as notified by health authorities.
Until the COVID-19 test results for Ms. A were confirmed, the police officers who responded to the scene were quarantined, and the emergency room of the hospital was temporarily closed.
The couple had recently argued over religious issues, and it is known that the husband is not a Shincheonji believer. On the afternoon of the 26th, there was also a report of a domestic dispute, and police officers were dispatched.
