Gwangju Seo-gu Holds Regulatory Reform Idea Contest
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 27th that it will hold the ‘2020 Regulatory Reform Idea Contest’ until the 19th of next month to discover and improve unreasonable regulations that cause inconvenience in daily life and hinder corporate activities.
This contest expanded the scope of participants to include all citizens, companies, organizations, and public officials to realize ‘resident-experienced proactive administration’ where residents directly discover and improve regulations in line with government policies.
The contest themes cover all regulations related to residents’ lives, jobs, corporate activities, future new industries, and region-specific projects, encompassing all regulations affecting residents’ lives and corporate activities.
To participate, applicants can download the submission form from the Seo-gu Office website, complete the proposal, and submit it by visiting, mail, fax, or email within the contest period.
Submitted ideas will be reviewed by the relevant departments and Seo-gu’s ‘Regulatory Reform Committee’ to select excellent proposals, and award certificates will be presented to the winners in May.
