Dongseo Food Launches Cereal Bar Filled with Five Grains, 'Post Ogok Coco Ball Bar'
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Dongseo Foods announced on the 27th that it will launch 'Post Ogok Coco Ball Bar,' a cereal bar packed with the nutrition of a meal based on five grains such as oats and brown rice.
This new product is a bar-shaped version of 'Ogok Coco Ball,' a representative product of Post cereal, designed for convenient consumption anytime and anywhere. The traditional round Ogok Coco Balls have been made into small mini balls clustered together, coated with milk chocolate and milk coating, resulting in a crispy, sweet, and smooth taste.
In addition to the savory flavor of five grains?oats, brown rice, barley, wheat, and corn?it contains abundant nutrients such as 9 vitamins and 3 minerals (iron, zinc, calcium), making it ideal for a quick breakfast or a light afternoon snack.
The cereal bar market reached 61.6 billion KRW last year and continues to grow steadily alongside the rise of convenient meal replacements (CMR). Since 2017, Dongseo Foods has released 'Post Corn Flake Bar,' 'Post Corn Flake Bar Berry Yogurt,' and 'Post Golden Granola Bar,' and with this new product launch, it now offers a total of four types of cereal bars.
