US Mortgage Applications Increase by 1.5% Compared to Previous Week

According to Bloomberg News on the 26th (local time), the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) mortgage application index for the week ending on the 21st rose by 1.5% compared to the previous week. This followed a sharp 6.4% decline the week before, showing a rebound.
The mortgage application index for home purchases increased by 5.7%, rebounding from a 3.4% decline the previous week.
