Busan City Extends Daycare Center Closures Until March 8
[Asia Economy Reporter Wondara] Busan City announced on the 26th that it will extend the closure period of all daycare centers in its 16 districts and counties until the 8th of next month. Previously, the city had closed 1,855 daycare centers in the districts and counties from the 24th to the 29th and operated an emergency childcare system.
A Busan city official explained, "This measure is in accordance with the Ministry of Health and Welfare's policy to implement a nationwide closure of daycare centers."

Meanwhile, Busan City announced that two additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) occurred in the Busan area on the afternoon of the same day. As of now, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Busan is 57.
