The reason Vietnam has risen as a model quarantine country is attributed to its thorough early response. Earlier, the Vietnamese government suspended all flights between China and Vietnam starting February 1. Additionally, Hanoi requested health authorities to quarantine all passengers arriving from certain cities where COVID-19 had spread, such as Daegu, for two weeks.
