32 Additional COVID-19 Cases in Gyeongbuk... Total 232 Cases
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Jucheol In] The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Gyeongbuk Province increased significantly to 232, with 32 new cases added overnight.
According to Gyeongbuk Province, as of 8 a.m. on the 25th, there were 232 confirmed cases (including 6 deaths). Among them, 111 cases are related to Cheongdo Daenam Hospital, 52 to Shincheonji Daegu Church, 28 to Israeli pilgrims, and 41 are others (general confirmed cases). This is an increase of 46 cases from 186 as of 6 a.m. on the 24th. There was no change in the number of cases at Cheongdo Daenam Hospital compared to the previous day.
By region (based on resident registration), there are 112 cases in Cheongdo, 37 in Gyeongsan, 20 in Uiseong, 13 in Yeongcheon, 11 in Pohang, 8 in Andong, 5 each in Chilgok and Gumi, 4 in Gyeongju, 3 in Mungyeong, 2 each in Yeongju and Yecheon, and 1 each in Gimcheon, Yeongdeok, and Cheongsong. Out of 23 cities and counties, the virus has spread to 17, excluding 6 counties: Seongju, Goryeong, Yeongyang, Bonghwa, Uljin, and Ulleung.

The 111 confirmed cases at Daenam Hospital include 96 psychiatric ward patients, 1 general ward patient, 8 staff members, and 6 deaths among psychiatric patients. The regional distribution of the 52 Shincheonji Church-related cases is 25 in Gyeongsan, 10 in Yeongcheon, 5 in Pohang, 3 each in Gumi, Mungyeong, and Gunwi, and 1 each in Sangju and Cheongsong. Among the 28 pilgrims, 19 are in Uiseong, 5 in Andong, and 1 each in Yeongju, Sangju, and Yeongdeok.
