Gas Safety Corporation Temporarily Suspends Training Center Classes from Tomorrow to Prevent COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Korea Gas Safety Corporation decided to cancel some training courses on the 24th as the COVID-19 crisis alert was raised to the 'Severe' level.
The Gas Safety Corporation Training Center located in Cheonan will prioritize canceling 19 training courses and retests scheduled from tomorrow (the 25th) to the 13th of next month based on the enrollment date. The cancellation and postponement of training will continue until the COVID-19 crisis alert is lowered to the caution level.
Those who wish to receive a refund for the training course fees can log in to the Gas Safety Corporation Cyber Branch website and apply for a refund through Personal Member My Page > Refund Application. Additionally, students who wish to postpone their training can contact the Training Center (1544-4500) for assistance.
Along with this, the corporation prohibits business trips to China for inspections and factory audits until the COVID-19 crisis alert is lowered to the caution level.
For overseas business trips to countries with confirmed COVID-19 cases other than China, exceptions may be allowed at the department head's discretion, but a quarantine period will be imposed upon return.
