KR Motors' GV300S Model Receives 'Positive Reviews' in Europe... "Full-Scale Export Expansion"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] KR Motors announced on the 24th that the GV300S model produced at its China joint venture (JV) has received favorable reviews in Europe, leading to a full-scale expansion of exports.
In January, the GV300S model exhibited at the '2020 Belgium Brussels Motor Show' held in Brussels, Belgium, also created a significant impact. The Belgium Brussels Motor Show, which started in 1902, is one of Europe's top automobile and motorcycle exhibitions, celebrating its 92nd edition this year. About 145 companies from countries including Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, the Netherlands, the United States, and Japan participated, featuring brands such as Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Kawasaki, BMW, and KTM.
KR Motors showcased models produced by the China JV at this exhibition. In particular, the GV300S model attracted great interest from buyers attending from various countries, not only for its design and performance but also for its competitive pricing, leading to purchase consultations.
The GV300S was launched in the Chinese market in September last year to meet the increasing demand for leisure motorcycles in China, introducing a cruiser model that was not yet common, and has sold 2,500 units to date.
It is a product with excellent design based on Korean technology and high cost-effectiveness, produced directly in China. Additionally, sales through a solid nationwide dealer network have created a strong response among consumers, leading to its selection as the 'Vehicle of the Year' in November last year.

A company official explained, “From the end of February, about 400 units of the GV300S will be exported to France, Spain, Thailand, and other regions, and 530 units of the GV125S are scheduled to be exported to the United Kingdom, Germany, and Spain in early March. The JV’s production plant located in Jinan City, China, has been operating since the 10th, and it is not significantly affected by COVID-19 in terms of production aspects such as parts supply.”
