[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jonghyo] On the 22nd, the first confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) was reported in Ulsan, which had been a 'clean area'.
According to health authorities, a 27-year-old woman, Ms. A, was confirmed positive on that day and was transferred to a negative pressure ward at Ulsan University Hospital for treatment.
It is known that Ms. A visited the Shincheonji Daegu Church, where patient number 31 attended a service, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM on the 9th.
On the 10th, Ms. A received medical treatment at a certain internal medicine clinic in Jung-gu, Ulsan, where her father works, then returned home to Daegu and stayed there from the 10th to the 15th.
Afterwards, from the 15th to the 17th, she traveled from Daegu to her parents' home in Ulsan, then to Haeundae and Busan Station, before returning to Daegu.
On the 18th, Ms. A showed cold symptoms and received a cold prescription at a certain internal medicine clinic in Daegu, then moved to Ulsan on the 21st to visit her parents' home.
At around 1:03 PM on the 21st, Ms. A was found to have a mild fever at KTX Ulsan Station. Since she did not show respiratory symptoms or high fever, she was educated and guided to visit a screening clinic if she developed fever or respiratory symptoms.
At 1:42 PM on the 21st, Ms. A visited the screening clinic at Jung-gu Public Health Center in Ulsan, where a specimen test was requested and she was confirmed positive.
