Korea-Japan to Hold 'Export Control Policy Dialogue' in Seoul on the 10th Next Month... Accelerating Resolution of Current Issues
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] The 'Export Control Policy Dialogue' between the trade authorities of South Korea and Japan, discussing Japan's export restrictions imposed on South Korea in July last year, will be held next month in Seoul.
South Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry held a director-level preparatory meeting on the 21st and agreed to hold the 8th Korea-Japan Export Control Policy Dialogue in Seoul on the 10th of next month.
The chief representatives from both sides will be the same as in this preparatory meeting: Lee Ho-hyun, Director General of Trade Policy Bureau at South Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and Ida Yoichi, Director of Trade Management Department at Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
