7 Emergency Response Personnel Hired in Front of Garibong-dong Community Center...
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Guro-gu has opened an additional COVID-19 screening clinic.
It is located in front of the Garibong-dong Community Center building (35 Uma 2-gil) and is the third screening clinic in Guro-gu, following the Guro-gu Public Health Center and Korea University Guro Hospital.
The screening clinic operates on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Doctors and nurses are stationed there to conduct epidemiological investigations and specimen collection for suspected COVID-19 patients. The clinic is equipped with negative pressure facilities to prevent virus transmission.
Guro-gu is also hiring emergency response personnel to prevent COVID-19. A total of seven people will be selected, including four for screening clinic operation support and three for disinfection. Applicants must be 20 years or older with no restrictions on gender or region. Screening clinic operation support staff must hold a nurse or nursing assistant license.
Those wishing to work can visit the Health Administration Division on the 6th floor of the Guro-gu Public Health Center on the 24th or 25th with their documents. Additionally, Guro-gu has decided to extend the closure period of public facilities.
Accordingly, the local residents' computer classes, community centers, and village vitality centers will be closed until the 29th. The Guro Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, Gung-dong Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, Hwawon Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, and Onsu Senior Welfare Center will operate their facilities on a limited basis until the 29th.
