Mapo-gu Health Center Suspends Operations from 21st to 23rd
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Mapo-gu (District Mayor Yoo Dong-gyun) has decided to suspend health center operations for three days from the 21st to the 23rd after a confirmed COVID-19 patient residing in Daegu visited the Mapo-gu Health Center at around 9:45 AM on the 20th.
At that time, the patient exhibited cold and fever symptoms and was guided to the screening clinic at the Mapo-gu Health Center, where a specimen was collected and sent for testing. The test result was confirmed positive at around 7:30 PM on the 20th.
Accordingly, Mapo-gu immediately reviewed CCTV footage, enforced self-quarantine for contacts, and conducted an emergency disinfection of the entire health center building. To prepare for any possible situation, they proactively decided to suspend operations for three days.
